Tomorrow is Friday!

Is it just me or has this week dragged on seemingly forever. Uhg. I hate that!

Tomorrow however is Friday! While the weather has been great all week... I am looking forward to a bit of down time. Life has just been too stressful.

Oh and if anyone sees my idiot ex-husband... tell him to pay his child support before I lose yet another apartment. Sorry, it turned into a rant... it's been one of those weeks I tell ya!

Is today opposite day?

A Douche Bag is You NEVER gets nearly the visits Random Chele-ness does in a day... let alone double it.

I am so confused. >.<

If you click it, it should grow.

I have a freakin fever?

What the crap?!? I can't name the last time I have a fever. I think I blame the damn flu shot.

I am going to play a little game called take nothing and see if it gets worse. It's only 100.7 right now. If it hits 102.0 I'll consider taking something. Bleh!

Feeling a bit saucy today...

It's one of those days, where I would simply dare someone to piss me off. No, it isn't PMS, that was last week thanks. This is just plain old, FML, FTW, FYA, belligerence. On that note, if someone I loved were to step up, I think I'd have to warn them to back off, I would hate to mess up a pretty or beloved face.

Does anyone else get these days? I think it's a "sick of taking shit" day... maybe. I don't know. I think to be on the safe side I should probably stay home, jail isn't fun.

Emma hasn't been feeling well

So last night we swung into the Minute Clinic... no go. Urgent Care hasn't been open since then either and no "sick" appointments open at the clinic of course... So, we drug her into the E.R. or E.D. as they now call it, but I can't help but think of other things with those initials. >.< I blame commercials.

At any rate, my little doctor phobic sweet-pea did wonderfully.

Still in her street clothes.

My booty has to hang out why? So silly.
The listened to her lungs, looked in her ears, nose and throat, poked and prodded her and even swabbed her throat, all without one word of protest from my 57 (omg!) lb sweet-pea. I can't believe she weighs 57 lbs, that's like... over 10 times what she weighed when she was born.

At any rate, the rapid strep came back good and she was diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory Infection and Sinus Congestion. He is wondering if she doesn't need her adenoids out, so he had us set up appointments with our Family Practice Doc to get a referral to an ENT... okay. lol

Emma did so wonderfully she got a special little bear from the E.D. nurse as we left, 3 stickers and lots of praise. She of course wants me to take pics so I'll probably edit this post later. Can't take the pics now, Bear is sleeping in her bed, all tucked in and sleepy from his E.D. visit, we wouldn't want to disturb his sleep for something silly like pictures.

All in all, Emma has a day off school, we have at least 2 appointments to make and a possible surgery coming up. Fun fun. Let's hope she keeps this great attitude/behavior towards the Docs.

Monday, September 27, 2010

Oh yeah baby, I got mine!

...

What were you thinking? I got my flu shot! Minds in the gutters, I tell ya. :p

We actually headed to the Minute Clinic to get Emma's throat looked at but they were booked until close, so we tried a couple others, same thing. Blah. She said it could wait but I didn't want the trip to be a complete waste so I stopped into Walgreen's and got my flu shot on. I let Emma watch so when I take her for hers she already knows it doesn't hurt. It seriously didn't hurt, at all. Not even a pinch. Either she's really good, or flu shots are that easy.

At any rate, with the flu statistics I've heard for this year, we're not taking any risks, all of my kids are getting one, like it or not. (They'll appreciate it in the long run, I am such a mean mommy.)

I think this will probably be my last post on this blog for the night... so have a great one!

And on a gorgeous day, what do we do?

Chill in the grass together. (Mommy and Emma)

Relax and enjoy.

Get up and dance.

Make funny faces for the camera.

Pretend like your mom would put you up for rent.
Pounce like a lion!

Lion dead.

What did you say mom?

Oh you want a big cheesy grin? Here!

And now... a frog.

And one of "those statues that spits water".

Speaking of water, need a drink.

And maybe a sammich! Ohh a picnic! Yay!

I don't know what y'all do on a nice day like today, but this is what we did. Right after school we came back home, parked our bums in the grass and had some outside fun, including a picnic. Now, mommy is blogging about it and Emma is kicking some bad guy butt on Lego Batman for the 360. That's my girl! I hope everyone else took a few minutes to get outside and enjoy the day, it was just beautiful.

Another beautiful day!

I have to take pleasure in something, it might as well be the gorgeous weather. I love fall! Actually, I love all of the seasons for one reason or another... but I can't wait for snow! Assuming I can keep the roof over our heads, that is going to be a fantastic winter.

Emma is off to school, she got a "Tryin' Lion" award on Friday, she's so happy she wants to try for one every day. Needless to say I am on board with that! I will have to come up with some sort of small reward system for her at home to celebrate when she receives these.

Today will be full of cleaning, unpacking, deciding what to pawn, and other fun stuff! I shouldn't complain though, I still have very little of our belongings moved here from storage, so it's pretty quick and easy to do.

What a gorgeous day!

It's just so pretty out, not too hot, not too cold. It's the kind of day that makes me wish I had a backyard to run barefoot in until I collapse on the ground and just watch the clouds, maybe even drift off to sleep. Yet, here I am cooped up inside, no backyard, no money, no life! Go figure! At least I can sit out on the balcony and people watch!

Mmm people watching. So much fun!

Taylor Edwards is back home

I am short on the who, what, where, when and why... but my daughter will fill me in when she hears. I certainly don't want to call the family and bother them at this time. Sorry about the lack of details.

My sincere thanks to those of you who re-posted and re-tweeted this to help look for Taylor.

Don't bother reading this post!

Yeah that's right, 100 baby!

I just wanted to congratulate myself on my 100th blog post! It's crazy, I usually start these things and forget about them a couple of days later. It isn't like I've written a novel or anything too exciting, I've just sort of chronicled my life at this point, but I am having fun writing and sharing it none the less.

Thanks to anyone who bothers to read my little blog, you must be really bored! :p Just kidding, I love my readers a lot, all two of them. Without you, these would just be unread words lost on the world wide web.

Holy cow what a day!

Although I'd bet nothing I am going through can compare to what Taylor's parents are going to. I was going to blog and vent, but it just seems like... yeah I'll wait on that.

Once again, if you can or would, please share the links to the information about and photo of Taylor. Her parents love and miss her very much!

missingtayloredwards.blogspot.com or her link on my blog http://cheleness.blogspot.com/p/taylor-edwards-missing-since-9-23-10.html

I can't stress enough how much the magic of social networking can do. Some of the stupidest things have gone "viral" lets make finding Taylor a priority. Imagine if it was your own child.

Being a smokers friend

While they are in the hospital and cannot smoke, is a trying time. You can be as sweet as pie, but getting your head bitten off is a given. Thankfully, being a smoker myself, I understand. Yes, I said it, I am a bad person who smokes. I'm evil, evil I tell you! I'll prove it! *blows smoke* See? :P

Just thought I'd share.

Oh and

Thank you Mr. James Melander for the pretty pink netbook! It comes in handy sooooooo often it's silly. And look, I can blog from it!

P.S. Text me when you wake up and see this. :)

10 Ways to Celebrate Banned Books Week With The New York Times - NYTimes.com

Some of the best books ever written are on the top of the "banned books list", something I have always though of as a huge waste of time. If you don't like a book, don't read it... Anyhow, this is a great article on Banned Books Week, I though I'd share.

Chilling at the Medical Hotel with P

P is in the hospital, although he would prefer I not post how, why or for how long. There are certain maggots  bitches c*n^s others he'd rather not have this info. If you're not one of those that he doesn't care for, you can contact me and I'll give you the who, what, where, why and how.

He should be alright, we'll know more tomorrow, he's young and healthy though, so he should be able to handle anything this trows at him. Please feel free to keep general well wishes for him in your thoughts, prayers or however you wish well.

Thanks!

Sorry I don't have anything much else to post, I've been at the hospital since 10am, he wasn't admitted until 3pm and it's been kind of a rush since.

<3 my readers though! Thanks for caring!

Song of the day: Katy Perry and Elmo doing "Hot and Cold" remake

Poor Katy, apparently she isn't Sesame Street approved...

In all honesty, I cannot see a thing wrong with that video. It's nothing worse than kids see on magazine covers, in malls, in schools, on TV, at the beach... you name it, I've seen MUCH worse.

At least she's a good sport about it, here is her tweet on things.
Wow, looks like my play date with Elmo has been cut short! If you still wanna play see it at www.katyperry.com Tag you're it, Elmo!

It's alright Katy, the rest of us still love you!

So I took a little walk last night...

And I came across what I think were a pair of mens (I could be wrong) eye glasses sitting on an air grate... okay, a little odd, but not so much so that I would put too much time or effort into thinking on it... however, the empty vodka bottle on the side of the air vent gave me pause.

I can't help but wonder what the heck the story is with these glasses and the bottle, if they go together or if it was a chance thing... I just don't know. I walked around a bit more wondering if I might stumble across someone intoxicated and I also wondered about their housing situation. Now mind you, I am not prejudice, hell I've been there, but I happen to have lists upon lists of resources to share. I never did find this person and I really don't know if it is a man or a woman, but wow am I curious. I think it's going to be one of those things I wonder about for a long while until I finally forget it.

Anyhow, I snapped a couple of pics... I'm weird like that I guess. :p So I'll share them with you.

Yes, the pic sucks, it was like 10 p.m.

A little closer, yeah you think it's odd too... don't you.

Big empty bottle of cheap vodka!

I think seeing this, it has to be understandable how it could be a very wtf moment for me haha.

I figured out why I keep waking up early

And yes, I probably should have figured it out sooner... lol

My back is killing me and it's only getting worse every night! I am sleeping on my old futon mattress on the floor and it just isn't enough. We finally have enough of a dent in storage to grab my bed, but it's raining today and I don't think it'll fit inside my little Trooper.

Maybe if I tape enough plastic bags around it it'll stay dry. lmao oi!

Titanic sunk by steering mistake, author says - Yahoo! News

Titanic sunk by steering mistake, author says - Yahoo! News

If these things are indeed fact, it's even more a tragic story than the truth. :(

A downside to unpacking slowly...

Emma has her first big "project" of the year at school. We have to make a tag board version of her, with pictures and stories to go with them. Photos need to be securely attached to the tag board her of course. Oi, I am going to have to dig through storage for the art and school supplies AND be creative.

She is supposed to decorate the head and it should look like her, I can see her frustration already. >.< Wish us luck! lol

As much as I hate moving

I can't help but be ecstatic with each item I find a place for in my new apartment. I am just... thrilled. And yes I am doing the unpacking as I go, rather than surrounding us with a mountain of boxes that will seem impossible to cope with.

Seeing how things ended up in the storage facility was a bit disheartening, but I am even over that, I have my things. Well, most of them. I've somehow ended up without a couch or any sort of seating for the living room. I guess there just wasn't enough room in storage and something had to go lmao.

On that note... if anyone has any gently used living room furniture that they would like to get rid of or sell for a reasonable price, let me know, right now we're all sitting on our beds or the floor. (Yeah the dining set is still in storage too.)

What is it with 4 - 5 am?

For some reason in this new place I can't help but wake up between 4 and 5 in the morning, every morning since  we moved in. Try as I might to sleep longer and it doesn't work. I don't even have to get Emma up for school until 7... which still gives us a little over 2 hours to prepare for the day.

I've now listened, to see if there is a noise or some sort of alarm that goes off around that time, nope, no weird lights, nothing. I am however ready for a nap... so clearly I am waking up to early.

What a boring blog post, sorry! lol Maybe I'll have something more exciting when I am awake,.

Monday, September 20, 2010

Wow have I fallen behind

Needless to say, thankfully, I have been busy getting settled in the new apartment and Emma situated in her new school. Today was her first day at Lincoln and she loves it. (Thank goodness!)

A bit of grocery shopping, a bit of running to and from storage, a bit of cleaning and unpacking as I go has kept me busy. Not to mention the epic blog post coming up to recount the years I put up with the Texas Andersons' shit. But that is for another blog.

My phone is off for a bit, so, if you try to reach me, you can't. Between that and a roof though, I'd say I made the best choice. :P

I know I posted that little bit before

But I am now sitting on the floor in my new apartment on my laptop and online!

I am so, so, so very happy. I took a a few pics "as is" on move in so I'll share those. I am just so stupid happy and very relieved!

Living room and patio

Living and dining rooms from the balcony
I was going to post the rest, but you've all seen apartments, you know what they look like lmao. I am finally in  a place, happy, healthy and proud.

I got it!

All by myself. I am very proud of me.

Please, help this family.

I am writing this for the sake of Michele and her children. I know Michele would not be able to make such a post easily if at all, but I care greatly for her and her family and have to try everything I can to help them see a better quality of life. So, I am begging, distraught and desperate to see this family safe and happy again.

So much is dependent on her affording her security deposit, it opens the door to so much for her and the kids.

I have given Michele a reloadable Green Dot Visa card that makes donations simpler for anyone willing and able to help, in any amount. CVS/Walgreens/Gas stations and www.mygreendot.com sell "MoneyPaks", essentially codes that when applied will credit the acount with the dollar amount the MoneyPak was purchased for. If you or anyone you know wishes to help, simply e-mail the MoneyPak code to:

phensonbtp@live.com

I would rather publically display my personal e-mail for simplicity as opposed to hers, but I am with Michele 24/7 caring for her as best I can and she has access to my acounts, so no matter what, she'll receive anything contributed. If you would like to help in other ways, please don't hesitate to contact me through that address as well.

Any amount you or someone you know is able to contribute, will help this family tremendously and be forever appreciated. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your positive thoughts, prayers, wishes, and any contributions graciously provided.

Sincerely,

Stephen Anderson (Phenson)

Omfg rain

Such a long day in the truck with all this cold forking rain. At least I got a shower.
Published with Blogger-droid v1.5.9

They knocked it down!

Okay, for those of us in Minnesota's Northern metro area... I was shocked to come across this today.

The old Target building off Coon Rapids Blvd. near Arby's and that little strip mall that held the best cake shop ever created ...

I miss their frosting SO much!!!
Okay, so anyhow, nextish to this there was a Target for the longest time, probably one of the first in the Northern Metro... Granted it closed down some years ago and had been a few things since... it's gone! All gone! And the parking lot is even gone! Here are a few pics I got, but with the sun/clouds/rain and the fact that it was just my phone camera none of them are great.

Just thought I'd share. Oh and yes, I am still homeless.
Sad!

This was once Target and it's parking lot

I found a great little secret

I was out and about yesterday, trying to keep busy while I wait to hear back on the latest apartment and I of course stopped into Starbucks because I am loved there. Well, that and I had enough left on my Starbucks card for a Venti Chai Tea Latte and a Blueberry Muffin. Anyhow, I did a bit of blogging from there and a bit on facebook and figured it was time to get back to reality. (the truck)

Anyhow, I get back outside and take a look around and a little shop across the parking lot caught my attention...

All About Yarn - Coon Rapids, MN

455-99th Ave, NW  Suite 180
Coon Rapids, MN 55433
763-785-4900

As you know I have been working on crocheting scarves, which is fantastic for my anxiety, or at least for relieving it. Anyway, I saw this store and though it would be a perfect stop and it was. I am in LOVE!!! Not only are they really all about yarn, but they are wonderful, helpful, kind and caring. No matter how many questions I asked, I was always answered and it was always a polite answer, even though they knew I had no money to spend. So, yes, if you are into anything that has anything at all to do with yarn, this is your go to place! Love, love, love them!

I am actually hoping to go in and learn to knit when I have myself back on my feet. I can't wait, seriously.

Soft little rainstorms

Are friggen scary loud when they wake you up at 4:30am. - I have since figured out what freaked me out so much about the rain... Apparently Stephen stepped out of the truck to relieve himself and it started to rain so he jumped back in the truck fast slamming the door behind him. So it was really the door slam that startled me lol. Men :P.

The design of the sleeping quarters.

Okay this video was actually taken a few days ago, but I haven't been able to upload it before today. We are fairly silly in it the whole time, but yeah, you have to keep a sesne of humor when you're in this type of position.

Omg

It is c c c cold out this morning. Brr! morning 4 waking up in the truck, let's hope I have some luck with resources today.

Yarn for two more scarves, I hope.

Not sure how much yarn one scarf takes yet.

Published with Blogger-droid v1.5.9

Emma's scarf to be...

I hope she is going to like it. If I get good enough at making these, do you think people would buy them?

Published with Blogger-droid v1.5.9

Not that this isn't fun and all

But give me a break. Wake up, change into your least worn clothes, find a "public" restroom. Use the toilet and wash everything you can at the sink. (Depending Of course on how public the restroom is.)

Find and park in shade (which is of course fleeting) and open something non-perishable for breakfast even though you would much rather be still rubbing your eyes and pouring a big bowl of Reeses Puffs with skim milk.

Once you're done eating, clean up the truck if you didnt already before bed and find a way to occupy yourself.

I can relate to the line in Zombie Land where they don't want to use the S H O W E R word. Only I am not surrounded by Zombies. Meh.

I miss

Having a place to just chill. The front seat or the makeshift bed in the back of my truck just aren't cutting it.

I miss lights when they don't attract mosquitoes, risk burning up your battery or your gas.

I miss when the amount of gas only mattered for drives I needed to make.

I miss TV, the computer, the xbox. I am missing True Blood among other thing.

I of course miss my kids, and they miss me. Poor Emma doesn't understand why she can't stay in the truck with mommy.

Sorry, just needed to get some crap off my chest.

Another thing for the wish list...

Bandaids... This thing HURTS. Steve made a makeshift bandage out of a tampon...

He made it black and white so it doesn't look so gross. I will get an after pic when it stops stinging like a &$%*#.

Items I wish we had for truck living...

-the Kids... Omg I am missing them soooo much
-quarters and laundry washing things
-ac/dc converter
-bottled water and cups for brushing and washing
-a cooler and ice
-a bigger suv
-a home (might as well, it IS a wishlist afterall.)

Nighttime in the truck...

It's a bit scary, especially when it comes to figuring out where to safely park... every noise makes me jump, but it could be worse, I could not have the SUV.

The fan at night, blankets are hung for privacy.

Looking out the front of the truck. We made a shelf out of the back seats once folded.
The passenger seat holds most of our needed belongings.

Another pic out the back, I should have done these during the day. I'll get better ones in the morning.

Song of the day: readers choice!

Pick your own favorite and dance to it. Just make sure you have fun with it. It's just too hard to use the embed code on my phone.. that I tried too hard.

Pictures of truck living?

We found a pond... I gathered fallen feathers.
Okay... this is just a big pile of blankets, not too exciting.
Steve rigged up a fan for me using a computer fan and the light socket thingy.
There, they're captioned. :)

Stress

I think I have enough to bring me back to Riverwind... if they have a bed and if they'll take me. My anxiety sucks hardcore right now. :(

Song of the day: Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff

Not the best copy of the video, but it is unedited. Didn't take me long to pick today's song of the day after the shitty call I received. Enjoy.

This is our last night here...

At the fabulous (not so much) InTown Suites. I give them credit, it could be worse... but not by much. For 239.99 a week... is it really too  much to ask for one round of clean towels and a roll or two of toilet paper? I mean come on...

At any rate, I am praying to hear from the new apartment complex saying that we're approved... otherwise I don't know what the hell I am going to do with us. I guess I could try to shove the rest of what is in my truck into the storage unit and make a comfy bed in there, as long as it's just myself for Saturday night I could call it camping. Right?

However, come Sunday, I have kids once more and school the following day. What do I do then? Let's hope that the woman at the new apartments took me seriously and is going to put a real rush on the background checks... lets also hope that Cutter's Grove did indeed fax over my rental history. Uhg, I hate the unknown.

The longer this shit goes on ,the worse my anxiety is getting, and gods know I don't need that to be any worse.

Fuck. As I wrote this, I got the call. We were not approved to live at the new apartments. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

Song of the day: Flight of the Conchords - Business Time

Just too friggen funny not to love.

ARG!!! Why? If it's not one thing it's another.

So I have been patiently waiting to hear about the application on the new apartment... so today I finally went up to the office and found out that they haven't even begun processing the application yet. They are waiting to hear from Cutter's Grove on their portion of my rental history... WTF! They have had that information for a full week. ARG!

So.. I called Cutter's Grove, they tell me they have tried time and time again to fax the info off as well as making phone calls to see why the fax hasn't worked. The rental office at the new place insists they have received no faxes or phone calls from Cutter's Grove. I offer to be the go between, but of course I might alter the info, so that is a no go. The places aren't even 5 freaking miles apart! WTF for real!

Beyond that... I find out that it will take at LEAST 48 fucking hours to run the background check to make sure that I am not a bad, bad girl. So... I have put all my money into staying off the street while hoping to get into this apartment... the other part into getting the apartment... I am BROKE! I can't afford to stay anywhere else at this point if I want any hope of getting an apartment and it seems that it's all because of a lack of communication, work ethic or dedication with Cutter's Grove, the new place or both. ASSHOLES!

I'm sorry, I really needed to get that off my chest. My gods.

You know what would help a ton?

Who's the most underrated musician?

Tom DeLonge, great guy, great musician.

Ask me anything

Still waiting! - A short rant

All of the paperwork for the background and credit checks were in last week, proof of income was turned in yesterday... called and left a message. How the hell long does it take? Especially at the rate of $40 for the check rather than the $25 - $35 that 99% of all other apartment complexes... For real, this is getting old. I want out of this shit hole they call a "Long stay hotel" which is really more of a ghetto. I don't care if it takes me time to get moved in or even if I have no bed or anything to sleep on for a while, I just want out of here. :(

Sorry, it's a rant, I know. But uhg!

Song of the day: Angels and Airwaves - Secret Crowds

By far one of my favorite vocalists ever, Tom DeLonge is an awesome person and musician. I love him long time! If he sounds familiar you might be having flashbacks to the Blink 182 days. Anyhow, love the song, love the band, love the singer, love it all.

Waiting sucks

Everything is turned in for the application on the new apartment, all they needed today was proof of income... but I don't know when I will know if we're approved or not. I can't wait to get out of this "hotel", if that is what you can call it.

The new apartments don't look like anything spectacular but here is a pic from the rental site.

The floor plan we applied for

I have no idea if we'll be approved or not, but I am very hopeful. If it isn't approved, then we will be on the street.

Song of the day: Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall

This song is for my kiddos, particularly the older two on their first day back to school. Although those of us who are already old and wise generally tend to enjoy it as well.

Song of the day: Lily Allen - Fuck You

This is a special song for anyone who has ever pissed me off.

We're here... for now...

This is where we're at for the time being. We have this room for one week, Saturday, September 4th through Saturday, September 11th at noon. Karl and I have an app in for a new 2 bedroom apartment, I am hoping like mad that we get it. Between the cost of temporary stays and the cost of applications and deposits on a new place, I am officially and completely broke.

Sleeping area

Kitchen area

Bathroom

Very small room...

and to top it off it's not cheap...

Oh and to top it all off, there are no dishes, no silverware, no cookware, nothing what so ever to facilitate eating. Can't afford to eat out and can't afford to cook... this is going to suck!

Housing update... kind of

I am betting if you've been following my blog at all, you're wondering what happened once the homeless countdown hit 0. Well, the answer is fairly simple, we are officially homeless. A lot has happened in the past 6 or so days, I have a lot I intend to post to fill in those blanks. For now, however, I though I would let you all know that while we are homeless, I've managed to keep some form of a roof over our heads thus far.

A few nights were spent at the AmericInn, but that was far too expensive to keep up with. We have now rented a room at the InnTown Suites, that should get us through until next Saturday.

As for upcoming housing, I found a 2 bedroom apartment which I will be hopefully renting with a roommate. The application and app fees have been turned in, alone with a $300 deposit to hold the place in hopes that we're approved. That along with food, fuel and rooms rented renders me -$60, I am hoping some sort of child support comes through before we are officially approved for the apartment so that check doesn't bounce.

At any rate, this is just a quick note to let y'all know that we aren't quite on the street yet and we are hopefully avoiding that.

If you've read this, thanks for caring, even if you care maliciously, you're still thinking of us. :p

RIP Robert Schimmel

I can't believe he passed away. He has to be easily in the top 5 of my top 10 comedians. I am so very sad, my thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and loved ones.

Auto accident and death

On August 26, 2010, while travelling on Interstate Highway 10 in Phoenix, Arizona, Schimmel was involved in a major car accident that left him in a very serious condition. 19 year old Aliyah Schimmel, Robert's other daughter, was driving with her father and brother. Sources say Aliyah swerved to avoid an accident in her lane and lost control of the vehicle which rolled over.[14] It came to a stop on its side on the shoulder of the freeway. Aliyah Schimmel was hospitalized and is in stable condition. Schimmel’s son was not injured.[15]
On September 3, 2010, Robert Schimmel died of his injuries.[16] He was survived by five of his children.

Drink(sort of) of the day: Jello Shots

Yeah baby! Need a recipe?

The Basic Vodka Jello Shot Recipe is an excellent way to learn how to make Jello shots. The principles are the same for every other shooter recipe:

1 (6-ounce) box of strawberry Jell-O, or other flavor of your choice
2 cups boiling water
2 cups vodka

Directions:
In a bowl, pour the boiling water over the Jello and stir until thoroughly dissolved. Cool to room temperature, then stir in the vodka. Pour the mixture into shot glasses or Jello shot cups. Refrigerate until well-set, at least 6 hours. Makes 32 1-ounce jello shots, give or take.

Woohoo, yummy!

Song of the day: Jimmy Eat World - In the Middle

Right now, this song is one of the things I am clinging to, to get through. Not to mention, I love Jimmy Eat World and while yes, this is one of there better known songs, there is a reason for it. Enjoy!

Song of the day: Korn A.D.I.D.A.S

Classic song, still makes me happy. I came across it while looking for blog writing music. Worth a share.

I have a lot to catch up on.

Get ready for a blog post or two to catch up on the time I was unable to blog.
